Medical Readiness Contracting Office, Pacific - MRCO-P

Tripler Army Medical Center

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office, Pacific (MRCO, P) is a specialized acquisition workforce that procures medical-related services and supplies for military treatment facilities throughout the Regional Health Command-Pacific area of responsibility. MRCO, Pacific is the U.S. Army Health Contracting Activity’s most geographically-dispersed region and operates in two geographic locations; Fort Shafter, Hawaii, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. The region provides healthcare contracting support to medical, dental, and public health facilities on the West Coast of the United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, and South Korea. Its operational space spans 36 countries and encompasses more than 4,500 miles across five time zones. As the Pacific Region grows into a more readiness centric environment, MRCO-P will expand its acquisition capacity and influence throughout the Indo-Pacific. Building strategic partnerships with Navy and Air Force entities has extended our operational reach, and allowed our contracting expertise to fill the gap across the acquisition and logistics enterprise.
